Finally it is holiday!! After finishing most of my other works, i started painting this picture for about 5 days, on and off, this is my first digital painting that was done 100% using photoshop, without working on a handrawn lineart. I used quite alot of layers while i was painting this in order to create better depths. I was inspired by my favourite artists, Matt Gaser and Dodecaden. Comments please, tell me what is wrong with this painting and i hope you people will like it, thanks!!

This is so breathtakingly beautiful it honestly almost brings a tear to my eye. The DEPTH you have created with photoshop alone, bravo my friend. Bravo. Is there a really big version of this? I could just immerse myself in it for hours! In every minute detail of it: The paper planes- the pin pricks of light in the distance, nestled under the cottony clouds.

The sky seems endless with dreams, it looks like it goes on for miles and miles, with the yawning light of the moon washing everything; the child's head, the whale's back. Honestly It almost makes me want to cry a little looking at this- It makes me feel like I'm 5 years, looking at an illustration in one of this giant children's books, almost as big as me: The blueness of everything, how it has this luminous dream-like quality that would probably have actually frightened me as a child.

I sound crazy. You rock though! :D

This just brings back memories of me pretending to see a mystical beast flying through the sky while on road trips when i was little. Great imagery on the parade btw! :nod: :heart:
